Ohio?
« on: September 07, 2011, 08:21:00 PM »
I had a great day today, I had the chance to spend some time with a fantastic member here Fishone.  I was able to get in to town early, and talk some trad talk.

What a great place to be able to meet folks, who are as top shelf as Fishone here.... I need to schedule another "work trip" down here....

I was also able to shoot more quality bows than both my vehicles are worth....

Mitch,

Boy, did we have a great time shooting bows and talking traditional archery!!!! Just don't tell anyone how many bows I have on the bow rack or my wife might find out and I will be in trouble.

You are welcome back anytime! You come back in Oct. and we will crawl up in a tree stand.

Thanks for stopping by the house! Have a safe trip back home tomorrow!

Glad you enjoyed Ohio.  Please be sure to inform everyone on how FEW deer you saw because there must be NONE here.

  :)

I moved here from MI.  Growing up in MI you naturally have this rivalary with Ohio.  Turns out OH is nice place.  There's two great Tradgang sponsors within 15 minutes of my house, and I do see a deer from time to time.

Some mighty fine bowyers within Ohio too - Brandon Stahl, Don Assenheimer, Roman Hershberger just to start the list....

I have to agree with you that Ohio has a great group of traditional archers.  You need to come back this weekend for the Geauga Bowmen shoot.
