Well I received the new Cheetah Hill bow yesterday, but I worked until 6:30pm and my boy had a football game at 7pm, so I had to wait until this morning to shoot it ... can you imagine how much sleep I got?!?!
Anyhow, so far I love it. It is 70 inches and says 48 at 28 ... I think it is heavier. It is still all good. I have averaged 580 grain arrows @ 160 FPS. The string is not shot in and the brace is still a bit high so I believe this will improve. My elbow is real sensitive to hand shock ... incredibly, no worries, I am surprised at how nice it is to shoot without my eyes blurring from the jolt. So, I really like it so far. I have a lot to do get her tuned proper, what arrows she wants, what brace, etc. However so far I am pleased at how well it does.
Any chance you can post these pics for me on Tradgang ... I have no clue how to do it.
Thanks again for all you help Mudd.
PS, the limbs are of course for a regular Cheetah, 2 cores of boo and back and belly juniper with a riser of Cocobolo.
Also, the arrows I made and were shot at 17 yards with broad heads at a foam target at the base of a hillside. I figured I shot ok for the first handful of arrows from a brand new bow.
Lastly, the white tape on the string is just a temporary knock placement for tuning. Once I get it figured, I will tie a proper knock and the tape will be removed.

PS: Congratulations Bob! Glad I could help.
