How do you fletch
« on: September 11, 2011, 10:13:00 AM »
Just wondering if any,or how many, of you guys use a straight offset fletch on your arrows?  Does it offer any advantages over a full helical?

Straight or straight offset gives you a little more arrow speed.  Fine for shooting targets and foam, but not so great at stabilizing an arrow with a broadhead.

I like 4¨ feathers (LW) helical
An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

Straight with slight offset for me with 5 1/2 inch shield cut for me.I think straight fletch is quieter than helical.Just my opinion

I fletch with a bitz and it is set for the  hardest helical I can get(LW). Really helps stabilise broadheads and everything else. No advantage to straight off-set that I anyone could convince me of! Shawn
