Massey finish danger?

I've been reading up on my wooden arrow finishes and saw that quite a few cases of epoxy allergy are being blamed on mixing epoxy and acetone.  The acetone allows the epoxy to penetrate the skin so if you're not careful with your safety precautions, especially during clean up, you might regret it in the long run.

What do you guys think?

Also, anyone messed with ethylene glycol as an anti-rot treatment pre arrow finish?

Anti-rot arrow prefinish?
I have never had an arrow rot. I have arrows from the 1950s with no rot. If it stays outside long enough to rot, then the Earth needs the nutrients more than I needed the arrow! I have found arrows of mine that have lain fallow 'neath the duff for a year, and they were fine. Water-base poly finish.

Ethylene glycol is not something I like to have around, just because of the possibility of poisoning animals through sloppiness in handling or storage. There is a jug in the truck, but not in my shop. I have no clue how this stuff would prevent rot, nor how it would react with arrow finishes. Sounds like quite a toxic bomb to fling in the woods, though, ethylene glycol, epoxy and acetone, but it needs lead..and Mercury nocks!!
