Hunting opportunities near Phenix ??
« on: September 20, 2011, 11:18:00 AM »
Hey Gents, I was wondering about hunting opportunities near Phenix AZ. I'm Canadian and my be make a trip out that way to see  my wife's uncle and aunt.
Does anybody know if a non resident canadian can hunt unguided for javelina or do I need to be guided.

If I do are there any affordable hunts in that area.
On my last vacation I met up with and hunted with TG member Lonola on the Big Island. I had such a great experience that I promised my self anytime I end up travelling some where I'll do my best to try and squeeze in a little hunting.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks
Allan Correia

Unguided is not a problem you can do that. Javelina tags are a draw though and require you to put in the application process next month for January's hunts. Deer tags are over the counter from any license dealer. There are lots of public areas to hunt both.
Check out  www.azgfd.com  for regulations.
