Replacing Hood on Great Northern Quiver
« on: September 24, 2011, 09:43:00 AM »
I recently purchased a GN quiver for my longbow.  I see where they are offering a new longer hood to accomodate longer broadheads.  I'm thinking of getting the longer hood.  Is it difficult to change the hoods?  Can anyone who has done this offer some instructions..."how to".  Thanks!

Just pull out your foam and the metal insert in there. Clip the zip ties and put the new one in place. May want to bend the metal insert to fit a little better and possibly add some double sided tape so there's no rattle. I also put a layer of duck tape around the metal but not sure if it needed it. Pull the zip ties tight with some needle nose and put the foam back in. Great, very adjustable quivers.

I added the duck tape because I was trying to get rid of a rattle that ended up being my wedding ring hitting the bow.
