He stops  at 45 yards & starts to skirt the ridge trying to get a whiff of the cow I`m now pretending to be. He is really staring my hidey spot down, as I realize I should have had more cover in front of me. I think he saw me move.

He stops & turns pacing back the way he came & starts to leave. One more bugle as he is leaving & he comes back for more.

If any of you have had a turkey hang up,that is just what he was doing. Back & forth he went.

The last thing he does on his way away is let out a few barks. I later find out it is a warning & bad if you hear it.I`m such a greenhorn. He slowly melts into the timber & my night is over.

What a rush! I decide right then that bull is gonna die & I aint leaving the area until I get him. Monday morning he gets it!
