Back in the saddle
« on: September 27, 2011, 10:35:00 PM »
Shot a bow today for the first time in 11 months. Had left shoulder surgery back April and have a pending surgery on my right forearm.

Shot from 17.3 yards [really] and the first 6 were all kill shots. Didn't have a real good grouping-about 5", but it will get the job done.

Only was able to shoot 2 dz. shots, but it sure felt good.

Good luck to all this fall.

Hap

Great news!
Good to hear that you are on the good road to recovery, and outshooting me! Keep it up, and be sensible about it. Oh, sorry, forgot who I was talking to.

Good feeling isn't it Hap. I went from this to this in six weeks and I'm ready to hunt. No tree climbing for awhile yet.
