Martin Savannah Brace Height
« on: September 28, 2011, 11:09:00 AM »
I have been playing with the brace height on my savannah and can't seem to find the "sweet spot". Can someone share some insight with me who has experience with this bow.

JRY309 is correct. The recommended brace height for a 62" Martin Savannah is 6 1/4"-7" which can be confirmed by the Martin website link below.

you will need to find the sweet spot brace height for any stick bow.  there is no way that anyone can tell you what that number is, only give you a guideline of sorts.

I've seen it list as 6 1/4"-7 and 6 1/2"-7 1/2". I'll keep moving it around.

What Rob said.  Brace height is a suggestion.  You need to find where your form, the bow and your arrow work together best.  Unless you string the bow at 10 inches of brace, you aren't going to hurt it, so feel free to experiment.
