Nice head shot on that one...course they don't fight quite as much that way!  I like your rig...looks like you can get pretty skinny with it.  I love bowfishing, your post makes me want to get out and shoot some fish!

I noticed you shoot the same points I do. Have you had any problems with penetration? I've had some problems lately. What weight are you shooting?

Great pictures

It is a 10ft boat.I have had some issues with pull outs,so I used a grinder to re-sharpen the edges on the tip.I have not had any issues since.I am shooting a 50# bear 76er I picked up a ETAR a few years ago for $15.00.

Way to go Bones, looks like a good time and a good way to handle the heat wave.  Where were you on which river?  I'm not looking to steal your hot spot, it just doesn't look familiar to me.

Thanks Bones,

I thought I had seen most of the New but it looks like a portion I have not been on.  It has been a while though so maybe my memory fails me.  Maybe further south than I have been as well.

Keep at it - looks like fun!  Thanks for the pics.....

Sounds like a blast Bones. And it looks like you have a good rig for the action.  You are on a stretch that I have not seen too much.  In times past I have spent many hours fishing by canoe and by foot everything from Austinville to Bluestone dam in WV.  I need to get back on the river and I need to take my bow with me.

Keep at it....
