I have had a few do that recently and noticed the ones that did had a small section of a fletching that had come unglued. Both ends were down but half way up for what ever reason the glue had not bonded. I am trying Goat Tuff tonight.

Don't know about the arrows but I whistle while I work or when I am happy.  Maybe that's it ?

I think they whistle because they don't know the words.   :jumper:

I have it happen to my arrows sometime as well, but after I shoot them enough it goes away.
“instinctive archery” is more like playing the violin. Without practice you may remember the mechanics, but you will not be a virtuoso.

I've had arrows whistle when I use secondary feathers. Guess there a little softer than the primarys.

Grizz - that may be it. in an effort to use every inch of feather, some of my bases on my fletch taper to almost nothing. I'll have to look closer at the whistlers and see if that is a common thread. Thanks.
