I use a golf club tube bought at walmart for $1.00. Use a cork in the bottom and clean after each use.

No help here, I just use wipe-on poly.  Easy and quick.  Let us know about using PVC.

The make plastic tubes, but saying "plastic" doesn't say much with all the varities.

what I learned is that the solvent in Gasket Lacquer somehow permeates the regular commercial 'plastic' dip tube and it evaporates. I constantly have to add solvent back in to keep it from going solid although tightly capped and stored in cool dark area. FWIW.

you might find the same...

I use a water based acrylic dip and just leave it in the capped pvc tube. Even made a reservoir at the top using a bigger pipe and off the shelf fixtures.
The stuff is called 'Raptor dip' from Raptorarchery.com each 'dip' dries in under 2 hours.
