wow, did you clip the throat?  I've seen another deer hit like that but on ther side of his neck and we where covered in blood from our chests to our boots by the time we found it.

Nice job Buckster--I grew up over in Humboldt area back in 40's and 50's.  No deer around there then.  Those snuffers are great heads aren't they?
