Vermonster 13 Youthbow Program
« on: October 10, 2011, 10:32:00 PM »
So, I never win anything, and I was the lucky winner, or rather my daughter was, in the August (I think) Youth Bow program drawing.
I can't thank Vermonster 13, Mike McCredy of Maddog Archery, and the TGMM folks enough for the kindness shown with these giveaways.
My youngest daughter is about to be 10 years old, and I have a Grand-daughter who is about to be 8 years old. They have been sharing a Little Bear recurve that I picked up a year or two ago.
My daughter was absolutely thrilled with the Longbow youthbow that she won. We waited anxiously for it and Mike got it made up and sent out pretty darn quickly. Here are some photos of two pretty excited new traditional archers.

This first photo is of my daughter Aleyna and her new bow...

This next one is my daughter Aleyna and my Grandaughter Taylor...

And these final two photos are of Aleyna with her first couple of shots with the new longbow...

Thanks again to everyone involved. What great kindness and generosity.
I have a 3 year old grandson coming up and another 1 year old grandson coming up behind him. I think this bow will get a good workout and be enjoyed for a few years yet. Then, we'll pass it along in the spirit that is was intended.

God Bless, Thank you, and Straight Shafts,
Chuck

Love it! If I was still posting pics of Full Draws to my web site, these would definitely be there (great form!). but I'm being very slack, lately. I'll save them, though, and perhaps I'll get back to it after deer season. I do stuff like that more in late winter, while waiting for things to warm up again - LOL. I have a bunch saved up, and will post a notice on TG when I start posting them (FDs) to my website again.
