Looks like I'll be helping another turn to Trad gear.
Wow I must attract like minded people because 6 or so months ago a friend in my church group talked to me & I eventually helped him get a Mad Dog Longbow & he's now on his way to becoming proficient with it.
A few weeks ago one of the youth in church who is a tallented guitar player told me about his bow, well last Sunday I met him with his parents to look at his Compound bow to see what he needs to get it set up for him.
Long story short, too heavy of a right handed bow for a left eye dominant young man.
My suggestion was either Dad used the bow with some adjustment or sell the compound & he get a left handed bow & I teach him, well wouldn't ya know he want's to try a recurve!!! :D
Told him that I can take the limbs from my 36# recurve & mount them on my Daughters left handed risor to give him a feel for it next weekend & I pointed him to a few inexpensive recurves from 3Rivers.
He seems hooked before he even pulled the string.
