Replacing bolts on Lone Wolf climber
« on: October 14, 2011, 12:08:00 PM »
Anybody replaced the bolts, nuts etc on a Lone Wolf climber? Probably about time to do it on mine.

Any helpful tips? Sizes amounts of pieces?

Does Lone Wolf offer anything?

Thanks

Any good hardware should have what you need. BUT only buy/use grade 8.

Grade marking reference can be found here.

I did the same thing on a Lone Wolf Hand Climber I bought off the classifieds.  It was about 5-7 years old and some of the hardware was rusted so I bought new hardware from Lone Wolf and replaced.

I called Lone Wolf and they have a replacement package for all the bolts, etc. About 8 bucks but it's not on the website. Ordered a sit strap too..

I would think grade 8 bolts would out live the aluminum by several times unless rusted.. The straps etc are a different thing and should be replaced every few years.
