Thats really a cool bow. Is the grip stitched on? I didn't realize that you could sew cork. It should actually form to your hand over time and be a perfect fit.

God bless you, Steve

Very nice looking bow and it is good to see a fellow Portagee on here. My Grandparents came here in the early 1900's from San Miguel in the Acores...PR

thanks for all the great comments. I can't wait to show the bow to my parents over the holidays.

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow’s effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs

Very moving story, it takes a lot put such a plan together and it must be very satisfying to see the completed bow. Big Jim has really done an outstanding job, the bow is terrific. I sure your parents will be very happy. Congratulations.
