Thanks guys for the kind words.  Yea been trying real hard to get my dad his first big deer (over 170) we've been on a bunch and honestly had more chances at big to giant deer then we deserve!  My dad lives up in Denver so he doesn't get the same chances I get down by my house.  I have big deer in the yard most days.   I'll be more then happy taking any buck, although I wont punch the tag on a little guy until Saturday or Sunday!

Congrats on the doe my muley season doesn't start til Jan. 1 and I am getting antsy!  Love the Durango area that is where I grew up and still miss it.

Well season ran down and we were un able to arrow a nice buck.  Now I'll be back hunting predators and maybe a late season cow elk, we shall see!

Sorry you didn't connect on one with bone, but that was a great doe.  They'll be even bigger next year.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.
