Hi folks, I just thought I drop a line that I represented the trad community at the Arizona State Archery Association state field championship this weekend.  I proudly wore my new Tradgang t-shirt and of course shot my Bear Super Kodiak split-finger off the shelf.

FITA Field is a lot of fun but some of the distances (up to 50m) are quite long for our discipline, and favor string walking and arrows which would be entirely too light to hunt with.

Great practice though and an opportunity to shoot with a world champion which was a real thrill!

Cheers to all and I'd be happy to answer any questions about the experience,

Sounds like fun to me, Brett.  What was the terrain like where you shot?  Also, how many targets made up a round?
