new Black Widow ad
« on: October 23, 2011, 05:51:00 PM »
Has anyone looked at the BW add (inside the back cover) in the latest issue of Traditional Bowhunter?  Something about the longbow in the picture looks different to me.  Anyone else noticed this?  Like the one arrow quiver too.

I have my new issue of TBM. I guess I'm missing the difference you speak of. It looks like an old pic to me (of the Moose), but I could be wrong, as I don't follow BW ads too close, only Bear.

To me the riser looks to have a line/joint in it.  Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me.

I noticed in the new TBM that Denny Sturgis and Nathan Andersohn were shooting PLK widow longbows, is this a new model?

Fellas, the picture is an older one that appeared in a former BW catalog. If I remember correctly it was a hunt that Ken Beck was a part of years ago. He was shooting the recurve in the picture. Furthermore, TBM mistakenly called Denny and Nathan's longbows, PLK's. This mistake has happened before in a previous issue. They are indeed the PLX longbow.
