My New Toelke T/D Recurve
« on: October 24, 2011, 05:34:00 PM »
Hey Guys, here's a few pics of my T/D Toelke. I got it about  8 mos ago. It has 2 sets of Limbs , The Myrtle Wood ones are 60# @ 28 , and the Juniper Wood ones are 53# @ 28. The  Riser is the New part of all this..... I was talking to Dan, about how I wished the Original Riser had a Beefier Grip. He told me to send it all back and he could build one that I would like more. It's not that the Original was bad, I was just wishing out loud when Dan and I were talking. So , Behold the New , much ,more Beefier Grip Riser... It is Cocobolo, with what I believe is Ebony Lambs to help Beef up the Grip. Dan has gone  above and beyond yet again..... Enjoy, Tu Compadres, Sutty

Dan is the man. Amazing workmanship, truly custom and will do whatever you need to make the bow fit you and fast turnaround.

Of and did i say i love his whips!

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow’s effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs

Dan is a great guy and very accommodating. He takes care of his customers. I love his bows ( Only have three ) and I need more. Great looking bow, like the two sets of limbs.

That is a beauty.

I was fortunate to pick up one of Dan's bows from chopx2 (Antonio) and it will not be my last.

Thanks for all the kind words.... I am sure that there are many other Bowyers that would go out of their way for a client, but Dan the Best, IMHO.

I love my curlew, mine is also a cocobolo riser with Juniper veneers.  But the riser on yours is really something else....WOW, I like it.  Dan's bows are the only bows that I shoot, I have not shot one yet that I did not like.
