I was also very moved, I have a wife who is very supporting and we have faced the cancer battle together, the Docs said 6 months 12 years ago and by the grace of God she is still with me today.

For me, Mr. Mitten's article was a good bowhunting story, but an even better "human" story!  For those of us that have that special woman in our life; we are reminded by Mr. Mitten sharing his personal story, that we must always treasure her not knowing how much time any of us have.  My heart goes out to you sir!!

very touching read for sure.  enjoyed that story, and reminded me of a handful of family and friends that have dealt with that dreadful disease as well.  for sure shes still with ya!

He is "The Man"! Ive been reading as much of his stuff as I can drum up and had the honor to speak to him briefly at Denton Hill. The man kills the worlds best bucks but listens to your doe stories like an excited kid. The story was big and made me pause a bit and really count my blessings.
