Excellent Joe! Shooting low hair on a tense deer comes from experience. Well done!

Great job! It's very hard to hit an alert deer. Resharpen that Zwickey and use it again. They are truly great broadheads and have stood the test of time.

Early Primos vids were good about showing in slo mo how deer drop at the bow shot! Amazing how far them stinkers can drop to push off and fly outa there!

Friend in TX told me their deer are so wired, he holds 6" below their belly and they drop right in!   :scared:  That's wired!

I did one un-alert deer but she was close...really close, and she still dropped and it caught just UNDER the spine, but severed that main artery under the spine and she took 3 hops and stood there a second and fell over dead!

Great job! Neat to have enough ground to choose stand sites like that in a fickle breeze.

Can't wait for the buck shots you'll share soon!

That is pretty cool Souvenir. You make soup to get all the meat off?  :)

Li'l extra pepper and garlic will cover that metalic taste I'm sure!  :)

Dang but your set up surely did do the job...

I had to laugh going back and re-reading one comment about your hero pic where the guy said about your stand "not being very high off the ground!:  :D  We have some great wits here on Gang!

There's a thread on the new Zwickey website soon to come. Maybe a good photo for their website?????

Congrats, great pics.I think most of us have spined a deer a time or two.Kinda makes me feel that I made a bad shot, but when they start droping and rolling a spine shot works every time.I hunt east Tx deer that are always ready to blow up so I always shoot bottom line.I have had a few stand there and not move at all, end up shooting right under them.
