Mods to fit Axis arrows in Selway quiver? Problem solved!!
« on: November 06, 2011, 11:27:00 PM »
Has anyone figured out a way to modify the lower rubber arrow clip on a Selway quiver to hold Axis arrows? Any ideas?

Thanks

I didn't see one specified on their site. I'll call them direct.

Thanks

Use the lower gripper in the pic below. It worked fine with my Beman MFX Classics, which are the same dia.

What I do is just bend the whole lower part out and up. My wife has the limb bolt model and I did this and it holds her tiny arrows that are smaller diameter than the axis.

i agree with ishoot4thrills. If you can find any old compound quiver they usually fit axis and you can just slide the new gripper on your selway. I have three set up like that for MFX's.

I believe Thunderhorn archery sells little rubber  band thingies called "snuggies" that are cheap and do the job. Don't have contact info but you can Google them. I got some from them in 2 days and it cost me less than $5 for a quiver I traded for.

Judt buy some surgical tubing at the drug store ans cut them 1/4" and slip them on each arrow holder. Ken

take your arrow holder to the hardware store an find the correct size rubber o ring to roll over the rubber arrow gripper if your holder only holds 4 arrows you will only need 4 o rings i shoot the Fmj's an it works great an you can just roll them off if you need to..
