Back to my roots
« on: July 13, 2007, 06:20:00 AM »
Well guys, I am back after a short venture down the road of compounds- tried a couple of "wheelies" was forever changing things. Well those are gone and I now own one "compound" but it has no cams and doesn't come out of adjustment and has recurve lines. Anyway I have a new longbow coming in Aug- a Northern Mist Shelton String follow bow. 66" long,55@28" lignum vitae riser and overlays on the tips, tempered bamboo lams with black glass on bellie and back. The heavy wood in the riser should really make this a stable shooting platform and comparing it to the "modern bows" should still be a dream to carry through the woods.I have been really concentrating on form and I believe I'll be shooting my new stik better than ever. Well anyway I am back and enjoying the "simple" joy of pure archery!Paul

Actually it is a Monsterbow Phoenix. I had a Warf and it was a shooter!
