Also, the rut seems to be in full swing. I heard bucks fighting in the morning before first light and   bucks chasing does

Just saw this thread. Hope you score in Monkey Co. I hunt Carroll and Howard and from what I have been seeing and experiencing, the rut is ON FIRE right NOW.

62 degrees at 6 a.m. Definitely slows down the action. Only a couple of small bucks moving through this morning. We'll see what the rain brings out.   :pray:

Good luck to all of you. Looks wet tomorrow. I've never hunted in snow here.  That would be great. Tracking snow is great if it isn't melting and taking your blood trail with it.

does any body hunt the prettyboy watershed bow only area? if so how is the deer population there?
