Indian Savage recurve....good?
« on: November 09, 2011, 06:58:00 PM »
I have a chance to pick up an Indian Savage from a fellow. Its about an hour drive (in my jeep thats about $30 in gas).

The bow is selling for $45!!

Its left handed
45# @28"

Looks to be in good shape (only has one picture...not the best quality either).

What I would like to know is: Are these a quality bow? Should I jump on it? I know its cheap as heck so I'm tempted to get it just for the heck of it.
Thanks

Ask alot of questions. I drove about 45 miles a few weeks ago for a left hand bow. I got there and it was a bow for the left hand!! It was actually a right hand bow. The guy said, "But it goes in the left hand!?!?" He wanted 50. I walked away with it for 20. Now I have a RH bow for those wrong minded shooters who come over.  :)
