ScottM with his Illinois buck
« on: November 13, 2011, 01:07:00 PM »
My friend ScottM from Illinois would never think of bragging on himself or his kills but I will.

I think Scott said he passed this buck up twice earlier that same day but finally decided that the rack while not huge was pretty awesome looking being so symmetrical.

It only had 3/8's for deductions and scored a little over 125.

If I got it wrong hopefully Scott will come on here and correct me.

I hope he gets on here and tells the whole story.(hint,hint)..lol

Good deer Scott, Congratulations!

Thanks Fellas. It was a tough decision weather to shoot or not.I drew on one about the same size about an hour before I got this one.I let him walk due to a broken brow tine.I had two chances to shoot at this one before i decided to take the shot.He just looked so perfect and even but Im always thinkig "Man what would he look like in another year".Im not a good story teller. You just had to be there.Im sure glad my Dad was.Time to go back to the woods to look for a bigger one.Best wishes,Scott
