Thunderhorn longbow pics please
« on: November 15, 2011, 07:23:00 PM »
Just ordered a Thunderhorn from Duane.  Said it should be done end of Feb, begining of March.  I'm deployed right now and can't even shoot my bows to pass the time so I was hoping I could get some pics of Thunderhorns to hold me over till I get back.  So post em if you got em!  Thanks!

Here is mine. It is top of the line. I could not be happier. Duane inlayed the Dragon Medallion in the riser.

I call the bow, Dragon Slayer:

Raging Water, that is just plain good looking with that Medallion and stippling. Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful!
Are there other Medallions where you got that one? Ken

Just this morning I took my Thunderhorn off the rack, strung it up, and drew it back several times. Then I unstrung it, hung it back up, and left for work.

To other 'horn owners this probably doesn't sound all that strange.

They are that nice! You will be pleased.

Hey Joe, do you have any bows that are not gorgeous?  All the bowyers should send you a bow to take photos of for their websites.

Not nearly as nice of an image as my predecessors, but another fine example of Duanes knack for beauty.  Butter smooth and real shooters.  This is no longer in my stable, but it was thoroughly enjoyed for nearly a year.  This one is all bocote.
