Like  to know how many of you prefer back quivers over a side quiver,or vise versa..pros and cons to both?

Side quiver (open tube variety).

I can look down and pull a broadhead or blunt and it also requires a lot less motion to slide an arrow forward point first from my hip than over my shoulder.  And a polarfleece fletch cover will keep the feathers dry, protected and quiet when still hunting and crawling through brush.

I use the Bow Mate Elite side quiver. It allows me to hunt in all conditions without giving my arrows a second thought.

Back quivers and Catquivers....bow quiver on occasion. Never was a big fan of side quivers, especially those hip quivers like Chuck Adams uses.

I prefer a side quiver like this one by High Noon Leathers. Can be worn like a back quiver if you like and many ways as a side quiver. This has to be the best designed quiver I've come across yet. Not a very good pic of it here and I have an other being built now with some fancier tool work done on the leather.

I also had a similar question. I used to use a bow quiver and i loved it loved it loved it. but i am now shooting a shrew lil fav and after looking at pictures of the entire limb working i would feel bad putting a side quiver on it. I have considered using a cat quiver but haven't read many good things about them..... Any help any suggestion?

Thx...took a better picture of it for you. It comes with an other leather strap to wear it like a cat quiver. There must be a dozen different ways to wear this thing.

I like my back quiver, but as I mentioned on a different thread,  it can become a bit cumbersome to retrieve multiblade heads. I also have a cat quiver, but i just don't like it...can't tell u exactly why

Theres something other than a back quiver...LOL I could never shoot with a bow quiver(never felt rite), and the hip quiver seems to get caught on to much brush, and the open side quiver looks to interesting and I may make on in the future.
