Eagles Flight/ Kanati and what to do!?
«

Please help me out....
Im looking for a quiver for my new bow. I own 4 Kanatis and love them....but....this new bow is so light, like no bow Ive ever had.....so Im looking for a small, compact, LIGHT quiver that wont make my new bow so lop sided. Im aware of the Kanati slim jim, but despite its slim profile, I believe it is actually heavier than the strap ons like the ones I have. I see alot of people using the Eagles Flight but I know nothing about them! They look super compact and light......so who has one and how do you like it? Is it light? Does it stay put on your bow? how is the hood foam?

I have an EFA and am very happy with it. I just got another one through a trade. I have the 4 arrow model and it's super light and compact. If you get the EFA quiver, make sure it has the newer grips. The old grips kinda slide a bit but can be fixed by putting a rubber band between the grip and the limb. The hood foam is good and doesn't break apart or crumble.

Another vote for the EFA. I shoot a kanati as well and after getting used to it. I don't know the quiver is there.

Kanati is very nice, but it's quite a bit bigger than the EFA. If you want small, light, and cool, the EFA would be great. If you want a bit more mass and cool, the Kanati would be the ticket.

I've never had a bow quiver I've liked more than my EFA 4-arrow. It looks great, does exactly what it needs to and is about as light as a bow quiver can possibly be.

I have a 58" Kanati with an EFA Primitive in one size bigger than the "standard" size. The quiver is lightweight, solid, and it seems to fit the bow perfectly. The wing bracket adds a good amount of weight, but I still believe its lighter than anything else. And it seems to actually make my bow quieter. I am totally satisfied with mine.
I tried postin pics but they wont seem to resize in photobucket or on my computer :( I'll email em to you or somethin if you want, but I dont want to cause any trouble with my screwy pics

I like both quivers and own both. For light and low profile the EFA wins hands down. Just my humble opinion.

EFA is the way to go! Don and Karen are great to deal with and it's a huge plus that I only live a mile from the shop!!!

stay with the kanati, get the boa small fry..efa are light for a reason, thinner material and the gripper system is..well not a kanati gripper,i have had 5 efa quivers and if you want just weight reduction then buy one.but i really like the construction of the kanati..but that is why there is 33 flavors of coffee at starbucks,,but i drink 8 o clock brand coffee....just mt 2 cents might be worth a half cent,,

I have an EFA 4 arrow. Love it.
I shoot MFX classic small dia. carbons and they don't move at all.
Lots of good options out there.

I have three EFA quivers, a 4 arrow bolt on, and a 3 and 4 arrow strap on quivers. All work great and foam would last better if I could decide which broadhead to use, 2 or 3 blade.

You're right floodman. EFA quivers are light for a reason - they were intentionally designed that way for the archer who doesn't like heavy bowquivers. We believe, at EFA, that it is a detriment to add unnecessary weight to a bow, hence the lightest weight possible hood and the ultra light talon grip. Our quivers are all made in the USA and we use high quality material. It may be that you have some of our older models before we developed our talon grip system. Send me an email or give me a call. We don't have many unhappy customers but we'd prefer not to have any.
Thanks for the support of many of you who use our products. We appreciate your support and will continue to provide the lightest weight quality quivers possible. We appreciate your comments on our products and any ideas you may have for future products.

EFA's are the best lightweight IMO, and I have tried them all. The new gripper system is a HUGE improvement - rock solid. Great products and good people to deal with.
