Footing a GT 75/95
« on: November 18, 2011, 08:06:00 PM »
I'm looking to foot some GT 75/95's but am not sure what size aluminum arrow shafting to use.  I looked at Charlie Lambs chart in the How To section and it said to use a 2219, so I aquired some but they didn't fit.  Oddly, they fit perfectly on my 55/75's.  So, I'm thinking a 2216 or maybe 2215.  Anyone know for sure?  Thanks!

I'm assuming you are talking about traditionals.Black shafts are slightly smaller.2216's should work. It's OK to sand into the wood grain finish if you need to to make them fit.

I just take any arrow I want to foot to my local sporting goods store and try different al shafts for fit.  But then he only wanted to sell me a dozen at a time, but I knew the size.

Let me know when the right size is found and I'll edit the list to reflect that.

By the way I didn't put together the list. I just thought it was a good idea and put it there.
