Wade, if I remember right you were invited. I still owe you a buck for the one I killed at your place in October. Let's get those long bows built this week and maybe we can break them in down south in early December.

Two things fellas.
Dan has building his own bows for many years now. Really nice bows they are!
Unless I'm mistaken, his buck grossed just a gnat under 160, awesome!

No offense intended as that is a nice deer. However, here in Indiana, I think that would be considered "baiting" which is illegal in these parts.
However, each state etc. has its own regulations so congrats on your deer.

Your point is well taken Joe. Texas hunting ain't for everybody. Thats good too. More deer for me! BTW all those deer and hogs on the first screen you see when you come to this site were killed in TX by "baiting" at the Solana Ranch.

We bait the sh!t out of em I guess......who DOESN'T use a feeder here as most of TX hunting is private land ranches.

Thanks all. And Pat I appreciate the Kudos on the bows. Just so everyone knows Pat B. Has killed more hogs than swine flu. If he Posted all of his kills on TG there would be like 4 posts a week.

I second the Pat B factoid. I love hunting over bait too. Two things we need down here.... AC and corn. Without any of those 2....life would be tough.
