I read several articles in there, one on knifemaking. Now THAT was a magazine.

Thanks for posting that.

Man that was cool...blast from the past. Whole magazine is quite an issue...

they really glamorized hunting back then vs. now, eh? Wow! Thanks for sharing!
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

You have discovered the least known and appreciated source of our archery past, articles published in periodicals "other than" those strictly devoted to archery.  Over the years I've compiled an extensive bibliography of these articles.  Currently its at 34 pages listing nearly 2,000 archery or archery related articles.  I have the original or a copy of around 500 of them.

The internet has made the task of locating and collecting this information somewhat easier, but it still requires time.  Previously one had to have a network of old book and paper [periodicals and other printed matter] dealers to acquire the magazine in order to collect the article.

The June 1937 issue has an article written by Howard Hill.
