It just comes down to personal preference.
In other words, if they fly great, hit hard and you like them, it doesn't matter if there is 5" of overhang and you might be the only person on TG who shoots with 5" of overhang.
As an analogy, I'm probably the only aluminum arrow shooter on TG who bowhunts animals with a thin walled 2212 target arrow. I like it and that's the only thing that matters to me.
In closing, you don't have to bend to conventional wisdom with regards to "arrow overhang". Some of us don't run with the pack nor do we follow the pack.
