My wife, a darksider, and I were joined by her brother in the back yard for some target practice last weekend. We were shooting from a stool @ 20 yards to simulate shooting out of the blind. My wife loosed 3 arrows and they were about 2 inches high of the bull, I sat down and sent the first arrow down range but it seemed to sound a little different on impact. We went down and there it was, my first robin hood with my longbow. It was perfect you could see the insert of the nock right in the middle of the field point about half way down the shaft. Boy was she upset that I "RUINED" one of here arrows. I had to make here some more this afternoon to get back in the good graces. She got here first robin hood on her second day of owning a bow and was all happy and giddy but when I do it she throws a fit. Just thought I'd share.
