Foggy day coyotes.
« on: November 28, 2011, 03:42:00 AM »
First one called in did not see it till we got up to go to another stand. Was about 100yards out and coming in took off and parked it at 300yardsor so and sat there making fun at us

.Buddy had to leave early .I went to a spot that i have not been to in a year or more. Called this one in but he stayed way out there,we shot back chalenge howls and barks for a while before he walked away.

This guy came in and circled down wind and said no way.never got closer than about 100yards in.

This guy was a hard charger but would not slow down for a shot ,was at full draw three times on him. his good buy picture.

You can hop but you can't hide.
If it was not for rabbits I would never get a buck.

Seen some blacktails and elk also.

Lots of excitement and fun even with no shots taken.

Always wanted to try coyotes with a bow. The guys I work with think I'm nuts. Oh well let'em think, sounds like fun to me!

Are there more yotes back East than previously?  I grew up in Ky went to UWisc and we saw fox, but no yotes.  Seems like you guys are scoring.
We have lots out here.  Had one close but did not shoot as I did not have permission from the rancher. I do now!
Yotes are beautiful animals. Remember to turn the lips and ears,  and split the tail ,salt well or freeze while deciding what to do
