Most of you all know Rich of Droptinetraditions finished Jack Howard's last two Classics. Just put my hands on the #60.
I know who I am going to ask to refinish an old Jet. Outstanding work. Thanks for all your hard work. Old Jack must be real proud looking down on this bow from up in the great tree stand.
Thanks Rich!

Rich is the tops I have seen bunches of his work and he really puts his heart into it. I cannot say I have seen a bow that Rich has done that did not look great...heck in some cases they look better than new.

I was lucky enough to hold and admire both #1 and #2 after he finished them. I also felt I should be wearing gloves or something. Awesome! Having known Rich for years, I can tell you, he takes great pride in his work, and it shows. Greatest thing is, he treats his friends even better.

Yep have to second Rich being a good guy. I have never had him do a refinish job but have chatted in the past. He is a straight shooter for sure!

Whittler, you need to look at his profile, get his email address, and ask him. He is a super nice guy and from the photos I have seen, he does nothing but first rate work.

His site is: droptinetraditions.com He has some before and after pictures of bows he has refinished. A Bear bow he did is just amazing the difference.

Terry, I got to see your bow today. Rich handed it to me, and IT FELL IN HALF! I swear I barely even touched it! Haha, just kidding, very nice takedown.
I also got to shoot his "Droptine" prototype and THE original "Droptine 59"! WOW!
He straightened a limb for me on a York Crest I just picked up also, and we shot a few dozen in 30 mph winds, and talked Traditional all afternoon. Thanks Rich!

Hi Guys. First off I want to give 10,000 thanks to Terry for allowing the thread promotion of the Jack Howard bows I did for Mrs. Howard by way of Jack Millet. ten thousand thanks to him as well.
Thanks for the kudos guys.
Oconee dan, are you related to Paul Masson of the Wine industry? Your slogan should be" "no bow shall go un-shot before it's time".
Mrs. Howard was tickled whan I told her how much we raised.
Raineman, I really enjoyed your company the other day. I get very few visitors to the shop and it was nice to take a break from sanding to shoot bows, shoot the poop, and shoot in 30 MPH winds.
By leading my 3D by 6 feet, it was cool to watch the wind drop my shot into the kill zone.
My wife is still scratching her head.
