New Knife from Sticshooter...Ya gotta see this!!!

I ran into Frank at the Horicon shoot this Saturday. As he was showing me some of his knife work he can do he starts to show me some of his "special" stuff. I saw this little gem and commented on how it would be perfect for my son. Frank agreed and I promised I'd show off this custom made sweetheart.

 


Did I mention it's my son's first birthday? Logan is one on the 18th but we had his party today. Not only is he showing off his new skinner but also his new camo threads. Obviously, it will be a while before he can have this but I'm really looking forward to the day I can take him along with me.


Just to give you an idea of scale this knife sports a full 2 1/4" length with a 1 1/4" blade. Antler handle, I believe.

I remember a while back when I told Frank how impressed I was with his work.  I still stand by that comment today.  You make really nice knives and the proof is in the pudding  :)

Yeah, I thought the little knife was too cool. I'm not rushing things with my little guy, Logan. He's got some time before I start to take him out.

Besides, I've got my 3 year old daughter, Lexi, to come out with me now and then. She's already been with me turkey hunting. And, she's convinced that my bows are her bows. See...
