A Dream Come true.
« on: July 16, 2007, 10:50:00 AM »
Well I finally OWN my own property.  Living in Colorado, where land is priced high than the moon, I was not sure I would ever be able to afford a place.  I have a house in a sub-division, but you are not allowed to shoot in the city. I always dreamed of a day when I would have a place I could just wander out onto and hunt, shoot and explore with the kids.  It is an amazing little place and I can not even express how cool it was to take that first hike with the boy and my wife.

Here I am surveying the place.

We own from this ridge top to the Road in the bottom. Deer and Elk and Sheep sign are on the place.

Even came with a house!;>)

very cool. Those hunts with that little guy are going to be even more special now that it is on your very own patch of earth.

Awesome!
This is one of my big dreams too!
Do you have any plans, like building a bigger house or a little field-course?
Congratulations

Jason, Where is your property located? I raised 2 boys in the mountains of Colo. They still thank me for this. There is just something about living in the mountain. Congrats on your new dream.

Chortdraw - it is west of Canon city.

We are hoping to build on the place in a couple of years, one dream at at a time......
