Back Quiver Lenght?

I've been thinking about trying a back quiver and was wondering how long (or deep) a "proper" back quiver should be in relation to your arrows?

Here are some old threads that might help. Search 3 is actually a "build along" from Rob.
Good luck!

I usually build min about 23 inches. I like a good deep quiver. With 30 inch arrows that leaves bout 7 inches hanging out. Triple up on your leather bottom if using like 8 oz oil tanned. I like to add a Piece of New Zealand shearling in the bottom and around the throat of the quiver. It keeps the arrows quiet , protects them and keeps the heads sharp. I usually put a piece on the strap in the shoulder area too. That makes a really comfortable quiver.
God bless and have fun, Steve

I think it depends on the length of the arrows with broadheads attached.
As an example. Many back quivers are made between 20"-22" in depth. For me, since I shoot 32" BOP arrows and with broadheads attached, my arrows are 34 1/2" long. Because of the overall length, I prefer a back quiver that is at least 25" deep.

The Standard is pretty much 22" for the average 28" arrow....
Measure your arrow from point to the bottom of the fletching and that will be a perfect size for your arrows....
