Cracked Carbons
« on: December 28, 2011, 03:55:00 PM »
I'm shooting Predator II carbons and they fly real well. I've reinforced the tips with a piece of aluminum arrow and they can take a beating. However over the last couple of months I've split the nock end on 3 or 4 of them while stump shooting with hex heads. Only one hit something hard enough that I thought it should split. Anyone else have this problem?
He (Jesus Christ) is before all things, and in Him all things hold together (Col. 1:17).

Put a 1/4 inch footing on nock end to stop the nock from splitting
