Who makes their own hunting clothes?
« on: December 30, 2011, 09:47:00 PM »
Does anybody(or your Spouse) make all or part of their hunting clothes? My mother used to make camo and wool pullovers for me. My hunting partners mother used to make a knit balaclava style hunting hat that was incredibly warm and darn near waterproof. That was along time ago and I was wondering if anyone was still doing it It doesnt get anymore "made in the USA" than that.

I once started making a ghillie coat by sewing strips of camo cloth and burlap to an old german alpenflage jacket. Never finnished it though. It looks pretty ridiculous.
its me, against me.

my mom loves to sew, so she makes me hunting clothing, and is starting to gather good wool to make me some wool stuff.
