Charlie, he outdoes me in everything but boy do I love to get outdone by him. If that bear bone works for you youll know what I mean. Just remember to follow the instructions or it wont work.

3-4 year wait sounds a little harsh but i waited 3 yrs 8 months for a bow and it was woth the wait. I was suppose to have had it in 7 months so that aggraveted me a little.

I got that bow from John at Denton this past summer.  It was one of his prototype carbons from 2010.  It is 42#@28.  That hog is 200# plus with a one inch shield.

I have the mate Griffin Carbon 45#@28.  They are smooth and fast for this old man  :)

After going back and forth I decided on a solid phenolic riser with Redwood Burl on the back and belly.

Can't wait!

So how does the 59'er shoot compared to John's regular design?

I love my griffin and am on the list for a two piece.  My first one came to me used.  If a bowbolt lefty comes on sale used I would snatch it up in a heart beat.
