They are really nothing more than a smaller versions of the Woodsman and too expensive for my taste when you compare them to other similar  heads on the market. They are non vented, 1 3/4" long and have a cutting diameter of 1 1/8". I don't have a scanner so cannot transfer a shot from the catalog.

OOOOoooo..but these are longer...lol

They do have more time into making them to put the lightening groove in them.
I can see the extra cost.
I'm not sure, but it looks a lot like a VPA 150 with some of the center of the side of the blade milled a bit thinner to shave off weight.

Have to admit..I'd rather shoot these over the Squatier VPA 125's...but if I was shooting 125's I'd go with a 2 blade or with the 125 WW for a bit more penetration do to the the added length.

This is correct fellas.  The Blood Groove heads take a LOT longer to make, going through more tooling all the way down to a 1/16" end mill on both sides of each blade, and therefore the reason for the higher cost.

Hope that helps.  As always, if you have any questions on VPA products or anything we make, shoot me an e-mail at [email protected]
