I just got a 59lb Rivers Edge.

Ive got some old redhead 250 carbon arrows (33 inches long) are they heavy enough to use with a 59lb bow without damaging it

Well Dave, I've been shooting them out of a 67# bow all summer. 30.5 inches, with 125gr up front, 500 grain total weight. So far so good. That's putting you at 8.5 gr/# if your arrows are as long as mine. I'd say your're fine!

Yup and ya should be able to put around 225 up front on them, so they spine well for ya. I shoot the 150s out of a 54# RER and put 175 up front for perfect flight. I am sure they would be too stiff with just 125 on them even if ya left them full length, maybe 175 full length. Shawn
