This summer my uncle brought me a bow and 6 arrows. The arrows are tan with orange nocks. They have this written on them- 8.5MM METRIC MAG

They do have some markings on them before the 8.5 but I can't make out what it is. They are 30 1/4 inches long.

My question is- Are these good shafts for a 55@28 green K-Mag? My draw is 28" the bow it 52"

If you need more info let me know. Thanks!

And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”.

They sound like Bear metric mags. They were sold by the 1/2 dz. The bow wts were listed on the box. I can't remember what 8.5 would match up to but most bear bows back then were 45-50 #  this was early to mid 70's

8.5 equate to a 2117...8.6 equate to 2314. The ones I have are Bronze in color (8.6), I had to cut them a tad longer with added weight up front to get them to fly.
