I just got it in the mail yesterday, had to work late so all I had time to do was string it up, set the brace height to 7 5/8 and nock height to 5/8 and hurry outside to sling a few. First thing I noticed about the bow was just how light it is, granted I've been shooting a BW PSA-X which is on the complete opposite end of the weight spectrum. I shot about 2 dozen shots , two arras at a time while getting the feal for it. I was shooting high at first but dead on. The bow was quiet for not having ANY kind of silencers on it, and can I tell you, it flat smokes an arra. The specs are 54" 51@28, high wrist, brown glass. When I spoke to Kevin I told him I wanted just the basic bow, nothing fancy at all since it'll just end up getting hunted with. Kevin, by the way, was really easy to work with and told me he had one that he thought would meet my specs just about ready, TWO WEEKS LATER and here it is. I draw 26.5 so I figure I'm around 45 or 46 pounds. My last two shots were touching each other at 15yds yesterday evening so I had to take a pic to go with the bow pics, and I have shot probably 3 dozen shots this evening that were all tightly grouped. I noticed that I only have to cant the bow just a little to be dead on left to right, everything lines up very naturally, it's just easy to shoot. The bonus...the price, and the wait time
I have read so many positive posts, and talked to several different ganger's that I decided that I had to at least try one out, I'm really glad I did, They do live up to the hype. My thanks to all who answered my questions, especially LeRoy Carlson, aka Golden Hawk, who has really helped me with strings, arras, and most importantly, the the willingness to help a fellow archer enjoy the sport more. I hope the pics come out, my first time trying without any help!!
BTW, This pic is NOT typical of my shooting skills, but I wish it was !!
