left and right wing ?
« on: January 20, 2012, 03:32:00 PM »
If you shoot an arrow that is fletched right wing, then shoot the same arrow fletched left wing will the both hit the same spot,I normally shoot right wing but have a buddy that is going to give me his left wing arrows and I am really not wanting to refletch them, they are the same arrows that i shoot but they are fletched left,,

Are you right or left handed? they should fly the same the wing and helicle position determine the direction the shaft will spin. You should have no problems.
Some people live an entire lifetime and wonder if they have ever made a
difference in the world, but the Marines don’t have that problem.

Whenever I've shoot right hand fletch, usually trying someone else's arrows, they will tick my finger a bit during the shot. But I find that if I turn the cock feather in I have no problems whatsoever.

Not sure exactly what you're asking, but unless you're shooting a single bevel broadhead, I don't think it matters. I've shot left and right, and all else being equal, they seem to go to the same place.

I've settled on l. wing, just because when ordering online, I tend to find a greater variety than r. wing.

All things being equal you should be fine Larry. I shoot what I have and they shoot the same for me.

I will grab left and right wing fletched arrows and go out and shoot. No diff. with either one.

As long as your arrows are tuned it does not matter.
