Here are a few pic's I took over the season. The one with blood on his horns had just got done fighting with another buck. The other bucks ear had been split open and that's where all the blood came from.

Ron I did see the fight but I thought the other deer was a one I wanted to shoot so I never got my camera out till after they were done. Turns out he wasn't, should of took some pic's cause it was a hard core fight.

You sure captured the mood. Highly dynamic pics, they made me feel like I could hear the deer, their hooves thudding, the air rushing through their lungs and nostrils. Very alive, these deer and the land. Good work.

Thanks everyone. After seeing Elksong's pic's it makes me want to get a good camera and spend a little more time at it. I still like to hunt but I could really care less if I kill anything. Just as much fun trying to snap some good pic's.
